What is the Christ?
I've found the Christ to be a comforting awareness of the presence of God's
supreme power and the power of God's loving presence. This benevolent,
spiritual force is independent of denominations and religious creeds. It's
availability and activity is not dictated by human institutions. It is God with us
and it embraces and speaks to every living being.
There has been much written and said about the Christ. Answers.com
provides an interesting summary of many of the theological and historical
definitions. However, to really know the Christ you have to explore and
discover for yourself.
